The Thunder Experience:

Best Fans, Best Arena, Best Place to Play in the ECHL!
Winner of ECHL's Team "Award of Excellence" for 2006-07

The Stockton Thunder Experience is a memorable one.

Just ask 2007 ECHL All-Star Goalie Devan Dubnyk:
"Certainly it was overwhelming being in Stockton - a whole lot more than I ever expected. It was a treat to be there - there was excitement in the city from day one, and the fans followed through with it until the last game of the season. So it was an absolute treat playing there."

What are other players saying?

From Thunder owner Michael Reinsdorf:
"The success of the White Sox and Bulls in Chicago is represented, in part, by how well-run the organizations are and I firmly believe the root of the Thunder's success is no different. With our large, passionate fan base and state-of-the-art arena, our belief is that if our organization is run at the highest professional level possible, it translates into success on the ice. Each player that steps into the Thunder dressing room is ensured the highest professional care possible, from sticks, to gloves, to training facilities."

WHERE YOU PLAY: Stockton has welcomed the Thunder with open arms! For the third straight year, the Thunder - who have made back-to-back apperances in the Kelly Cup Playoffs - led the ECHL in attendance with a total turnout of 239,337 fans at Stockton Arena. That's an average of 6,648 fans per game.

The Thunder sold-out the beautiful, 9,737-seat Stockton Arena 4 times last year and has 12 sellouts since 2005-06. The luxurious waterfront venue hosted the ECHL All-Star Game in 2007-08, features top-notch player facilities such as a state-of-the-art training room, steam room, sauna, a fully-furnished, customized locker room and more.
